Notes on Osteopathy and Subtlebody Treatment

Notes on a Case: Post-Hysterectomy Restrictions in the Thoracic and Spinal Areas

I recently worked with a client in her 50s who had a hysterectomy last month to remove early-stage uterine cancer.

Thankfully, the surgery was a success, and the cancer was caught early enough that there was little lymphatic involvement.

Even better, she doesn’t need chemotherapy, which is such a relief for her.

We talked a bit about irregular bleeding, which can happen after something like this. While it’s sometimes the body’s way of clearing stagnation or adjusting after stopping menstruation, I reminded her how important it is to get things checked by her doctor if it continues.

It’s always better to rule out any serious issues, like residual effects from a tumor pressing on blood vessels or weakened cellular activity.

After a hysterectomy, the body goes through a lot of adjustments. Organs in the abdominal area can shift slightly, and that can throw off the balance of the supporting structures—fascia, ligaments, and their connections to the bones.

So, a big focus during her session was helping everything settle into a more stable and balanced position.

In osteopathy, we also look beyond the physical body. There’s a lot happening at an energetic level—colors, vibrations, and frequencies that aren’t always visible but can have a real impact.

I explained how important it is to be mindful of these subtle influences, especially when it comes to preventing cancer recurrence.

We talked about the things that can create “toxic” frequencies in life—stressful work, poor diet, unhealthy relationships, or even just a chaotic living environment.

She’s ready to make some positive changes, and I reassured her that I’ll support her every step of the way.

The goal is not just recovery but creating a life that feels lighter, healthier, and more fulfilling than before.
